From lower winter temperatures to hotter summers, our regional climate is changing as the global climate changes. Extreme and variable weather is bringing losses to what were once our most reliable horticultural crops. To adapt to this new reality requires flexibility, being prepared to change what we plant and how we grow it. Learn how extreme weather affects plants, cultural practices and tools that improve plant survival, and the role growers and gardeners can play in mitigating climate change by growing plants that sequester carbon.
Sliding Scale- $15-$25 All funds go to supporting the ongoing programming of the Learning Series.
