2025 BC Seed Gathering
Join seed growers and advocates at the BC Seed Gathering on November 27-28! FarmFolk CityFolk’s biennial capacity-building and networking event brings together farmers, gardeners, students, and seed community activists to share ideas and learn about all aspects of seed security. The event provides a platform for exploring seed production techniques, marketing models, policy issues, and community organizing, with the goal of strengthening BC’s sustainable seed sector. Wetland Planting Days at Xwaaqw’um
Volunteer planting season is underway as the Stqeeye’ Learning Society continues its wetland restoration project at Xwaaqw’um. Community members are invited to take part in planting over 10,000 native trees and shrubs throughout late October and early November.
