• Access to Food Share : drop off your extra produce or pick up what you need at free food swap potlucks

 

• Invites to farm-to-table dinners, gleaning events, and tours

• Harvesting help from our team of gleaners, with surplus feeding our vibrant Food Share program.

 

• Earlybird access to  Root to Bloom Centre workshops with Dan Jason, Jared Qwustenuxun Williams and Linda Gilkeson

 

 • Root Cellar access – rent our apple juicer, dehydrator, and produce wash stations; use the space to host or join foodie workshops & canning/food preservation parties!

Your $25 a month lets us.... Provide fresh apples & fruit from Salt Spring orchards & estates to needy islanders via the Food Bank

Your $50 a month lets us.... Support the flourishing of our Burgoyne Valley Community Farm with water, fencing, tools and land upgrades.

Your $100 a month lets us.... Grow the Root to become a full-fledged food hub and Learning Centre supporting the next generation of farmers and foodies.
