Apple Pressing Days at The Root

It’s apple season, and Salt Spring Food Share is excited to welcome the community to Apple Pressing Days at The Root (189 Beddis Rd). Bring your apples and turn them into delicious juice using the Farmland Trust’s community juicer!

Dates & Times Pressing happens on Thursdays from 9am–5pm on:

• September 18

• October 2

• October 16

• October 30

• November 13
  

How It Works

• Come with yourself and at least one helper.

• Bring your apples to press.

• Bottles are supplied.

• Cost: $5 for a 1-litre bottle, $6 for a 2-litre bottle.

• This is a U-press—you’ll get hands-on with your apples and go home with your own fresh juice!
