Are you an engaging and neutral discussion guide with a flair for bringing hope and playfulness to serious subjects? We are seeking an experienced Facilitator to anchor our one-day event focused on emergency preparedness for local farmers - Farmer Preparedness Day.
You will be responsible for creating a safe, hopeful, and genuinely connecting atmosphere where participants feel empowered to discuss complex emergency preparedness topics.
The core of this position is skilful guidance: managing diverse viewpoints, encouraging open dialogue, and helping the group collaboratively build collective resilience. Experience with interactive facilitation techniques would be an asset in this role. If you have a knack for group engagement and maintaining a positive, energetic tone, we want you on our team.
This role encompasses pre-event planning, full-day execution, and post-event debriefing. It is a short contract of a total of 15 hours with compensation of $50 per hour. The Farmer Preparedness Day event will take place in late January, 2026. Your first meetings with the event organizers will be in early January.
