Join Salt Spring Island Farmland Trust and Jared Qwustenuxun Williams for a special evening of food, storytelling and Indigenous teachings centred around the traditional foods of this place.

Story Feast brings people together around the fire to share a meal and learn about Indigenous foodways and the relationships between food, land, culture and community.

The feast will feature fire-roasted salmon, camas and berry ice cream, along with stories and teachings shared by Qwustenuxun throughout the evening.

We acknowledge that the lands we steward are part of the unceded territories of the Hul'qumi'num and SENĆOŦEN speaking Coast Salish people.

We are grateful to Indigenous leaders whose traditional knowledge is vital to revitalizing local food systems.
