Pollinator and Native Plant Garden

Exciting News from the Farmland Trust!

We're building a compost toilet at the Burgoyne Valley Community Farm, and around that, a native plant and pollinator garden. By establishing a garden in an area currently left with bare soil from construction, we hope to: ✔️ Prevent blackberry from taking over ✔️ Attract pollinators with plants you may not have room for in your plots To start this project, we’ve purchased roughly 80 native plant starts, but this won’t be enough to cover the whole area.

How You Can Help

Donate Plants – We’re looking for seeds, starts, cuttings, or root divisions to help create a full and thriving garden by summer. They don’t have to be native, just non-invasive.

Volunteer – We need a group of volunteers to help with planning, preparation, planting, and ongoing stewardship of the garden.
