The Salt Spring Island Seed Sanctuary Society’s seed bank is open this spring at The Root Food Hub. Drop in to explore a collection of heritage and regionally adapted seeds, learn about seed saving, and connect with a representative from the Seed Sanctuary.

Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just getting started, Seed Bank Open Days are a great opportunity to discover new varieties and learn more about preserving local seed diversity.
