🗓️ When: March 1st (11am - 3pm)
📍 Where: 219 Eagleridge Drive
Meet the Facilitator: Marsha Goldberg of Eagleridge Seeds, a living seedbank on Salt Spring Island since 1995, brings a wealth of experience and a deeply rooted philosophy to seed saving. For Marsha, saving seeds is more than a farming practice—it’s a way to build community, honour nature, and empower farmers to protect the earth while boosting productivity.
Workshop description: This workshop will guide participants in integrating seed saving into their business models, with insights on selecting resilient seeds, identifying high-performing plants, and embracing sustainable bioregional farming. The session includes a presentation, a walkabout, and a discussion period, with optional one-on-one consultations to tailor strategies to individual needs. Join us at Eagleridge Drive to explore seed saving as an ecological necessity and a life-affirming journey.
