Fermentation Fundamentals with Melanie Furman

Fermentation is one of humanity's oldest food preservation techniques—a practice that has sustained cultures, strengthened communities, and enhanced food security for thousands of years. In this hands-on workshop, local fermentista and educator Melanie Furman will guide participants through the practical skills and deeper cultural traditions behind fermented foods. Together we'll explore how fermentation can reconnect us to seasonal abundance, local food systems, and our own kitchen creativity.
