Join us for the next Local Food Workshop in the Farmland Trust Knowledge Series as we learn how to prepare and cold-smoke wild salmon together.
Learn the basics of how to cut, prepare and smoke salmon. To respect the fire ban regulations we will be using the cold-smoking method. The salmon provided is local and wild-caught. The workshop will culminate in a potluck meal, featuring the smoked salmon. Please bring a garnish or side dishes to go with the fish. Bring your own plates, cups or cutlery.
Sliding scale donations to participate. BIPOC and Indigenous people welcome to participate at no cost. Contact growlocalssi@gmail.com
